Ruffo continued working with Alonso for Televisa over the next two years, appearing in “Quiéreme siempre” and “En busca del paraíso.” She went on to land her breakthrough role in 1983, starring opposite Guillermo Capetillo in “La fiera.” The series ran for 230 episodes through 1984. Ruffo subsequently starred opposite Valentín Trujillo in “Juana Iris,” which aired in 1985.
