Scottie Scheffler is having another fantastic season on the PGA Tour. He’s currently ranked as the top golfer in the world by the Official World Golf Ranking, an honor he’s held for almost 150 weeks as of this writing. He’s also won four major championships, including both the PGA Championship and The Open Championship this year. It’s proven to be quite lucrative for him, and it’s earned his caddie, Ted Scott, a ton of money.

Per Golf Digest , Scott has made an estimated $1.92 million serving as Scheffler’s caddie. The average earnings for a golfer on the PGA Tour is $1.73 million, meaning Scott has earned nearly $200,000 more than the average of all players on the tour—and in some cases, more than $1 million over players at the bottom of the earnings list.

After winning The Open Championship, Scheffler has now surpassed $90 million in career earnings on the PGA Tour. In 2025 alone, he’s secured over $19.2 million. Caddies typically make about 10% of the players they caddy for, which has Scott closing in on $2 million.

If Scott were a player, he’d be sitting at 70th on the earnings list, which would put him well within the top third of all earners. A total of 239 players have made at least some amount of money on the PGA Tour this year.

This kind of success is business as usual for both Scott and Scheffler . In 2024, Scheffler won over $29.2 million in PGA Tour events. That’s more than double than all but one player— Xander Schauffele , who Scheffler still topped by nearly $11 million.

Those consistently strong performances also led to Scott taking home $2.92 million, which again would put him well in the top third of all players. And once again, Scott earned more than the average of all PGA Tour players in 2024, which was about $1.978 million .

Scheffler doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon. That’s good news for his bank account—and for Scott’s, too.
