What is Patokh Chodiev’s Net Worth?

Patokh Chodiev is a co-founder and shareholder of the Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) who has a net worth of $1.9 billion. Together with his partners and longtime friends Alexander Machkevich and Alijan Ibragimov (both billionaires), Chodiev built the growing metals and mining empire. Based in London, ENRC has become one of the worldwide leaders in production of ferrochrome, alumina and iron ore, consolidating assets in Kazakhstan and Africa, as well as in Eastern Europe and Africa. Being an Uzbekistan native, Chodiev lived in Japan before teaming up with his pals in Kazakhstan. After he graduated from the University, he had a chance to work as a leading specialist in Soviet – Japanese economic relations in the Ministry of Trade of the USSR (1979-1989), then as a counselor of the Soviet Trade Representation in Japan (1976-1979) and finally as a special counselor for the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan (1995-1997). In addition to the above, Chodiev is one of the founders of International Mineral Resources (IMR), a mining investing company, strengthening the production of ferronickel, copper and cobalt in the Balkans, Zambia and South Africa. Also, he is a member of the board of directors of Eurasian Bank, which is one of the leaders among banks in Kazakhstan. As for his private life, Chodiev is a married man with three children, a son and two daughters. In 2017 his Belgian naturalization became the subject of an official inquiry.
