Early Life
Jake Weary was born on February 14, 1990 in Trenton, New Jersey to actors Kim Zimmer and A.C. Weary. His mother is best known for her role as Reva Shayne on the CBS television soap opera “Guiding Light.”
Television Career
Weary began his professional acting career as a child, appearing in an episode of his mother’s soap opera “Guiding Light” in the early 2000s. After guest roles on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Listen Up” in 2004, Weary played the role of Luke Snyder on the soap opera “As the World Turns” in 2005. He left the show at the end of the year and was succeeded in the role by Van Hansis. Also in 2005, Weary appeared in an episode of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” At the end of the decade, he was in an episode of the short-lived CBS medical drama series “Three Rivers.” In 2010, Weary made his debut in the role of Kevin Lebow in the Nickelodeon television film “Fred: The Movie,” starring Lucas Cruikshank as the titular Fred Figglehorn. Kevin is a bully and the rival of Fred. Weary reprised his role in the television film sequels “Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred” (2011) and “Fred 3: Camp Fred” (2012), as well as in the 2012 television series “Fred: The Show.”

Weary made his big-screen debut with a small part in the 2008 film “Assassination of a High School President.” He was next in the Canadian horror film “Altitude,” released direct to video in 2010. Continuing in the horror genre, Weary appeared in “Zombeavers” and “It Follows” in 2014. In 2016, he was in the revenge thriller “Message from the King.” Weary had his first leading film role in 2017, as ex-inmate Sammy in the crime film “Tomato Red.” The same year, he had a supporting role in the crime drama “Smartass.” Weary next appeared in two 2019 films, the heist thriller “Finding Steve McQueen " and the supernatural horror film “It Chapter Two.”
